A J Sands Ltd was established in 1991 by the Directors Alun Sands and Peter Jackson, with a comprehensive knowledge of civil and structural engineering consultancy. The aim was to provide a civil and structural engineering service to large and small clients, treating all with equal importance, and giving a fast, friendly and practical solution to problems.

The Company started in the depths of a recession but still attracted a healthy client base, proving the ethos of the company to be sound. In recent years the company has broadened out to include specialist services, namely timber frame and steel detailing departments , in response to market changes.
