Darts Farm Shopping Village, Topsham
This popular centre on the outskirts of Exeter started life as a pick your own farm, but is fast growing itself. It now specialises in organic, locally produced fruit and vegetables, as well as boasting a reputed fish shed, restaurant, deli counter and other shops. The two storey steel framed structure which now houses an Outdoor Leisure store is just one of many projects Sands have been involved with on this site. The design incorporated retaining walls, external balconies, large column free shopping areas and a large glazed elevation overlooking the River Exe.
