Exmouth College

This £5 million project at one of the largest schools in Europe created a new Music, Art and Science block as well as one of the largest school halls in England.  In total, 160 tonnes of steel were used in the frame.  The brief for the sports hall was amended during the design process to become a multipurpose hall required to seat over 450 students.  Sands provided the structural steelwork design calculations for the hall phase and incorporated this change to the structure with minimal fuss.
