Met Office, Exeter

When the Met Office decided to relocate to the South West, they created a new headquarters which has won many accolades.  Of the large number of people that use this building, few are probably aware of the role that Sands have had in their mobility and safety.  Fire escape towers with protective mesh panels, and contemporary internal stairs with Chinese slate treads and stainless steel handrails were detailed by our experienced team.  The building now houses The Hadley Centre which is at the cutting edge of Climate Change research.
