Occombe Farm
A new Visitor Centre was constructed at this rural location in South Devon to focus learning about farming and food, and to integrate education into the project. It comprises a restaurant, bakery, shop, butchery, IT room and associated amenities. Exposed timber feature trusses carry the roof structure over the large open plan first floor, and long span open web timber floor joists are carried on timber walls and steel beams to create the ground floor shop with no columns.
