Domestic Dwelling, Yeoford
This bespoke self-build barn conversion utilised an oak stability frame with concealed stainless steel bolted connections to form an L-shaped structure almost entirely glazed on two sides.
Sliding doors were used to maximise use of the patio and enjoyment of the stunning countryside views.
The result was a pleasing combination of traditional oak posts, staddle stones, cob walls and timber cladding with a not-so-subtle modern twist provided by the large panel glazing, zinc monopitch roof and stainless steel bolted connections.
